- Passwords stored as salted scrypt hashes, never as themselves
- Sessions end on sign-out, when the password changes, and after a working day unless you ask to stay signed in
- Ten wrong passwords lock an account for fifteen minutes
- Every role sees only what it is allowed to — a viewer cannot open the vault
